PMB

Honestly, PMB couldn’t have come at a better time.  Honestly, posting weekly brags has taught me that, no matter how stressful life can become, there are always positives that can help flip my attitude.

Just want to thank Hollie for helping me to realize this every week.  And for allowing me to vent to her about my current situation at our sleepover.

Alright, here we go.  First, a physical brag: my hair.  I know, I normally only refer to my hair as crazy, a rat’s nest, etc.  But in reality, I have pretty nice, naturally curly hair.  And it also can be straightened which is nice (yet time consuming).  Maybe people complain that they aren’t able to curl their straight hair, but I am able to go either way!

Als0, I just wanted to brag about this because I just got my hair cut last week haha.

Bad lighting, but the after shot.  I guess I could try and get a better picture for you sometime soon!

Now, a mental brag.  Remember when I told you that my GPA is pretty kick butt? Well, because of my academics and my role as chair of the graduate board on campus, I was chosen to be the graduate speaker at my graduation! I am in charge of the greeting! Eek! Guess I better get my 2 minute speech together!

Now, my final brag is just going to be about how awesome my computer is.  I got the Lenovo Yoga 13, and it’s pretty remarkable.  It’s a Windows 8 product with a touchscreen.  If that wasn’t cool enough, it also folds into a tablet! It’s pretty remarkable and I am loving the features! Such an upgrade from my old computer, and I am pretty pleased with my decision. Can’t forget to say thanks to Mom, Dad, and Santa for this early graduation/Christmas present!

I mean, can your computer do this?:

All in all, I’m pretty pleased with my selection.  It’s like having a computer, TV, and tablet all in one!

Alright, I’m off to my THIRD TO LAST DAY of my teaching practicum! Getting closer to the end each day!

Anything bragworthy for you? I want to hear all about it!

Congrats on being chosen, girl! That’s great! And I know what you mean about it being nice to have naturally curly hair. I hated it when I was growing up because I was the only curly headed girl in my family (my bro and dad also had curly hair, but kept it short enough that it didn’t show much). No one taught me how to control the mess of hair I had so it was pretty wild. But now I love it! Like you, I can wear it straight or curly and it really behaves fairly well most of the time. 🙂
