Girls4Sport Review and Giveaway

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

IMG_5335

It is definitely a bittersweet Monday for me.  I just got back from an amazing vacation that you can check out here.  But I have another one coming up soon enough! Hope you enjoyed my guest posts from awesome bloggers while I was gone, and you can definitely expect more to come next week!

Because my blog just turned one year old and because I was given this awesome opportunity, here is a great giveaway for you all!

When Girls4Sport contacted me, I had never heard of their company, but I am so glad that they reached out to me.  Girls4Sport is a swimwear and active wear company based in Santa Cruz, CA.  The clothing is made in the US, and the employees are hired locally at decent wages.  The people who do the cut and sew on the actual garments are either family businesses and/or vary by the book work situations with breaks/lunches/wages/normal hours (no sweat shops). In addition, they also work hard to not objectify women/girls.  I love that idea of the company.  They are true to making clothing that are made for women not only through the cut of the clothing but also by the ideals behind the company.

Girls4Sport has athletic clothing and swimwear for female adults and children that are special cut to match a female body shape.  All the fabrics are rated and have a maximum of SPF 65 which blocks 98% of UVA/UVB rays! That’s pretty impressive if you ask me.  They also have adorable prints and styles!

I was given the opportunity to choose a few items that I liked to test out.  I opted on sport capris and a long sleeve sport shirt.

The shirt has an awesome built in bra which will be great for me when it gets cooler out.

The pants are great to run in! I am not a fan of shorty short shorts because my legs rub together too much, and I love running in capris.  These ones were great! The material is so smooth on my legs and they are really light weight and comfortable!

I love both of the products I was sent and am so glad that they reached out to me to test their clothing! The clothing is so comfortable and the added SPF makes me happy! Smile

Now, here’s where you all come into play! Girls4Sport has offered to give one of my readers a Halter Tankini Swim Top.  The top comes in numerous patterns, and would be perfect for hot weather workouts!

In order to be entered in the giveaway, leave a comment saying your favorite piece of workout apparel.  What’s the thing you can’t imagine forgetting on your workout?

For additional entries, leave a separate comment saying that you’ve done the following:
